Generative AI Specialist (Pharma Domain)

Role summary

We are seeking a Generative AI Specialist with strong expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, and GenAI frameworks to transform the pharmaceutical value chain. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying AI to drug discovery, clinical trials, regulatory documentation, pharmacovigilance, and medical/scientific writing. This role blends cutting-edge GenAI technology with domain knowledge in pharma and life sciences to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement GenAI models to accelerate drug discovery, molecule design, and target identification
•Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for scientific literature, regulatory submissions, and clinical trial data
•Automate and enhance regulatory document drafting, medical writing, and safety reporting using LLMs
•Apply GenAI-powered solutions to pharmacovigilance, adverse event detection, and risk management
•Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory Affairs teams to identify AI-driven opportunities
•Integrate GenAI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex) with pharma data ecosystems
•Ensure solutions comply with GxP, FDA, EMA, ICH, and data privacy regulations
•Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, Bioinformatics, and Life Sciences technology

Skills & Qualifications

•Strong programming skills in Python with experience in PyTorch / TensorFlow
•Hands-on expertise with LLMs, NLP, RAG pipelines, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate)
•Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI)
•Domain knowledge of pharma R&D, regulatory processes, or clinical data
•Familiarity with drug safety, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, ICH, GxP)
•Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional pharma teams

Experience

5–10 years of overall experience in AI/ML, with at least 2–3 years in Generative AI

Prior experience in the Pharma / Life Sciences domain (drug discovery, regulatory, or medical writing automation) is highly desirable
